It is one of the best ways to enjoy the outdoors.  But if you’ve ever owned a boat, you may know that it can be a job in itself.  The difficulties of keeping on top of the maintenance, or the worry of a breakdown are the boat owner’s silent nightmare, the elephant on their stern.  Boats need constant care.  Access to boat repair and services can be elusive, depending on where you are.

Hook’s List aims to connect you to valuable providers of boat repair services and products, ones that suddenly seem so hard to find. And why is that?  They are a specialized group of people who are generally referred by marinas or other local service providers.  Either you know people in the area, or you are at the mercy of referrals from people you don’t know.  You may be taking your boat to places you have never been, because that’s what we do.  We explore new places with our boats.  If something happens while you’re on your adventure, you may not know anybody in that neck of the woods.  A research project to dig up reliable service providers hijacks your vacation.

Hook’s List provides a direct connection between boat owners in need, and those providers.  You will no longer need to hunt for hours on the internet for help.  Hook’s List knows who is nearby, and gives you insight into the quality of their work through reviews from others who have used their services.  It also provides guidance on best practices when looking for help.  This is a network long overdue.
